Dau Trigg

Dau Trigg

Dau grew up in the town of Fayetteville Georgia. In his younger years he developed a love for extreme sports, spending most of his time riding bmx, longboarding, and competitive diving. He explored the Caribbean extensively, and at the age of nineteen packed up his truck and moved to a small permaculture farm nestled in the Appalachian mountain town of Asheville North Carolina, where he learned sustainable farming practices and studied philosophy and fine art while also pursuing a career in borosilicate glass flame working. He has dedicated his life to learning and persevering his favorite art forms, making a career out of his creations for over fifteen years. His artistic approach and style is inspired by a wide variety of passions and influences such as; the outdoors (nature, plants, animals, etc.), “art house” films, and “low brow” art forms like custom car painting, graffiti, and most of all the laid back lifestyle of vintage tiki and escapism. When not tattooing or drawing, he disburses his time with his friends and family indulging in activities like hiking, fishing, kayaking, camping, card/dice games, and plant/fish keeping.
